ABOUT RAX

We are building the fashion platform for the next generation.

The way we consume fashion is broken.

Sequined dresses hanging on a rack

Think about your own closet right now. How many pieces - like that formal dress you bought for that one wedding - are just sitting there collecting dust? That is literally hundreds or thousands of dollars in dead capital hanging on a rack that you could be monetizing.

And on the flip side, think about the last event you went to.

Why did you drop hundreds of dollars to buy a permanent outfit for a temporary moment when you could have just borrowed it?

So we built rax.

Borrow it, lend it, buy it, sell it — straight from the closets near you.

WHY IT MATTERS

Every rental is one less garment made from scratch.

Fashion is one of the most resource-hungry industries on earth. Choosing to borrow instead of buy new measurably lightens the load — and rax shows you the difference on every order.

A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

rax is more than an app — it’s a community we're proud of.

The spark for rax came from a single weekend. I needed a dress for a wedding, and instead of dropping hundreds of dollars on something I knew I'd only wear once, I ended up borrowing a piece from a friend's closet. It was the perfect solution - but it got me thinking: How could this be done on a larger scale?

I realized the problem wasn't a lack of clothes - it was a lack of connectivity. There were thousands of incredible wardrobes sitting idle all over our cities, and thousands of people who wanted access to them. The tech to bridge that gap securely and seamlessly just didn't exist yet. So, we decided to build it.

What we believe

Three ideas that shape everything we build.

Clothing racks in a bright store

Fashion is an asset

Designer pieces — without the buyer's remorse

Folded garments ready to be shared

Your closet is worth more than you think.

The pieces you rarely wear can earn for you while someone else gets their moment.

People connecting over fashion

The future of fashion is circular and local.

Worn again beats bought new — especially when it’s borrowed from two streets away.
